C’Alma Retreats was born from a deeply personal journey.
Several years ago, I found myself facing one of my life’s greatest challenges: a cancer diagnosis. At the same time, I was navigating the relentless pressures of modern work.
It became painfully clear how easily we can lose touch with ourselves, our wellbeing, our loved ones and what truly matters.
As I began my recovery, I realized it wasn’t going to be an easy or straightforward journey. I knew I needed to take a holistic approach to healing – not only through medical treatment, but by caring for my mind, body, and spirit along the way. They all had to work together.
It was during this time that I discovered something invaluable: healing isn’t only about treatment or rest. It’s about creating space to breathe, reflect, reconnect, and regain a sense of balance.
As soon as my immune system was strong enough and I was allowed to travel again, I went to a retreat. It was a transformative experience!
For the first time in a long time, I felt truly present. I experienced the power of stepping away from everyday life, slowing down, and reconnecting with myself. That retreat became the inspiration behind C’Alma Retreats.
My vision is simple: to help others discover those same moments of renewal through carefully selected retreat experiences.
